The Difference
Between A One and A Two

Please clarify.
Are you meaning One giving up
It’s place so it is a Two?
That must be the distance
In the Theory of Everything!

No? Then are you saying
One that you can identify
confronting a Pair
Of things unspecified?
Like One substantial rock
And Two remote hillsides?

Then that must be the distance
Between One on a clock
And Two satellites
Ready to take off?

Well, that’s simple arithmetic.
I’m surprised you asked.
Either One satellite is launched
Or Two depart half an hour apart.
