Life Laughing

And if you had been asked
Would you like to be born?
The images of your life
passed in front of your eyes
(you would not tolerate words
who knows which generation
was using them)

And since
the images were not real
(no one had named them)
you would have smiled
at the cute ones
and put question marks
by the others.

You would have said yes
if I have free choice!
and since the question
was already there
to be freely answered
you were snookered in
and life laughed
the rest of your days.
