The
Kindness of Jimmy Savile
Midnight in Leeds Infirmary;
The children are sleeping sound,
And so is the security man
When Jimmy does his round.
Jim has the fame of a telly star
And he mixes with royalty,
But he really likes ordinary guys and gals,
Does Sir Jimmy, O.B.E.
He finds the weak and vulnerable
In borstal or hospice wing,
And he feels for every kid he finds
Since feeling is his thing.
Those kids begged Jim to fix them treats;
Tears well behind my lids
When I think of all the special ways
Sir Jimmy treated kids.
