Colour chart

Turtle Purple – think of
the shade of a burble,
the sky at eventide
over Durdle Door in Dorset,
a gurgle or a murmle
in the lower digestive tract;

think of a rurrle vista,
and as the image begins
to curcle back on itself
realise you will never
zurzle off to sleep again
without this hue
intruding itself like
a random furfle
or a childish jurjle.
