The First
and Last Date
The new age man
Leans at me
Over the too small table
Dark liquid eyes
Dripping unspent emotion
Unrequited passion
Thank God
I am on my pedestal
Clearly marked
Untouchable
And immune
To sticky fingers
With dirty nails.
