| I Sing the Sonnet brings together an impressive collection of sonnets by Duncan Gillies MacLaurin.  He is a Scottish poet living in Denmark; his verse is both playful and skilful. In this collection, look especially at the poems in the Acrostic section, whose lines each begin with the successive words of the aphorism that is the poem's epigraph.
