Choices
I understand it’s very hard to choose
among the women that you could be dating;
but in the end what have you got to lose
by asking me? I doubt I would refuse;
I’m unattached, kind and keen on baking.
I understand it’s very hard to choose
between the sirens pictured as you cruise
the internet but most of them are faking.
So in the end what have you got to lose
by picking up on all the little clues
that I am sending. I’m here and waiting
to see if you can bring yourself to choose
from all the cyber women, one whose views
are hers alone? There’s virtue in restating;
that in the end what have you got to lose
by going out to dinner and creating
sexual frisson fuelled by food and booze?
I understand it’s very hard to choose,
but choosing me what do you have to lose?
