The Challenge of Listening
 
The man was so intriguing,
His words waltzed in my head.
But while I was dancing,
I missed all else he said.
 


Impatience
 
I work on my impatience,
To get it to diminish.
But even as I write this poem
I hurry up to finish.



Attention
 
It’s a fact which human nature
Absolutely guarantees.
You will get someone’s attention
If your assets fit their needs.
