A Loopy
Invention
In 1858 the mathematician August Möbius invented
the Möbius strip, a loop of paper
twisted in such a way that it is said to have “only one
side.”
Abraca dabraca,
August F. Möbius
fashioned a strip with a
curious twist.
One side seemed perfectly
unparadoxical;
how could the flip side not
flipping exist?
