The Moon

There’s  a rabbit on the
Moon.
Did you know that ?

Somehow he’s gone –
The man on the
Moon.
All through childhood
He watched inviolate.

Then my world turned,
Spun slowly through
Moons.

Witches told me
He is a woman.

Samurai told me
She is a rabbit.

Scientists told me
It’s really nothing.

So, what’s on the
Moon ?
Do you know that ?
