More Rain Expected?

The Right Reverend Graham Dow,
Who is the Bishop of Carlisle, has explained how
The floods in Sheffield and its vicinity
Were instigated by a righteous Divinity
Because of the advent of gay marriages,
Which God, apparently, disparages.

But in that case, tell me - why would the omniscient one choose to frighten
Sheffield, rather than, say, Brighton?
