Philosophical Twins
There is Nothing
and then there is Empty
Perhaps they are twins.
The first wondering
Where everything is.
The second saying
“I know the feeling.”
Then Nothing wondered
how it knew that without things
it was empty? Empty
had to have boundaries
to exist at all. Maybe Empty
was a misnomer.
And Emptyness began to lose
its temper at the loss of
recognition coming from
Nothingness. It certainly had
nothing to prove it was there.
Nothingness blew a cool breeze
Upsetting it knew not what.
“Just wait I’ll invent something.”
