It was my first attempt at a form and, although some say it lacks concrete imagery, I have to argue that, if I did put it in, it would only impair my take on the sestina. My intention was to take the sestina code used and assign one word to each number of the code, then to have the word be in each line in any particular spot, therefore leaving me with a play on the same sentence the whole way through. I also noticed that, if you keep going with the code, it will eventually go back to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. So, in an attempt to bring the poem full circle, I added another stanza.
