Is There Enough Time

To solve World Problems
and live a reasonable life?
Do I have time to wait
for an answer?

Where does Time come from?
or will an answer take longer
than solving
the World’s problems?

If you asked me for an answer
you’d have to wait.

The sun only comes up once a day
even with daylight savings.
Where is its conscience?
Postponing answers
to major questions like these?

Rivers are erratic starting
in one direction letting every
minor land mass change
its pace and path.
Weather is no better.

What about mankind as a model
for adaptability? For incentives
to solve their problems and hang on
until death overcomes them? They
have evolved and persisted
a very long time.

Ask the wrong question
and there’s no answer
they will tell you.

Well, that’s one way to get
rid of World Problems. Now
what question should I ask
if the World
is going to Hell?
