Why Am I Wednesday

Why am I Wednesday?
I’d much rather be Friday,
Or even better  ̶−  Saturday!
Though I’d settle for Sunday.
Even Monday has its notoriety
And Thursday’s Thursday.
But as for Wednesday, well…
At least it’s not Tuesday.
