Psychopaths
A little under one percent
Of humankind, we’re told, present
The qualities of psychopaths.
This means that, if you do the maths,
A full six hundred thousand Brits
Are parasitic, selfish shits.
The chances are you know a few.
It could be one of them is you.

Drivel
Broken hearts need some form of catharsis;
It does no good to lie there and snivel in bed,

And so I tried writing a poem,
But it just ended up as this drivel instead.

where a full stop is required instead

marks will be awarded for the use of similes
metaphors alliteration & onomatopoeia
& knocked off for the use of slang & & signs
