Still Girls
They have electric hamsters
And DVD players in their room
They can surf the internet
Before they start school
And talk about video conferencing
(with Granny, with Uncle Rob)
As if it were rope skipping
They attend children’s discos
And rock climbing classes
And follow celebrity news
On special children’s channels
For they are experts with a remote
Let them loose on a lawn
- they make daisy chains.
