Risk Assessment for
Today
We fly a trapeze between
then and next.
This curve must be taken;
no choice.
From yesterday’s aftermath
to tomorrow’s:
a high wire through the lion’s mouth.
Don’t look down.
Below – sawdust; above – canvas.
No way out.
Face off the big cats; focus
on their eyes.
