Truly Unusual Acts
Once a year and a bit perhaps a bat
Will get entangled in a woman's wild nest
Of hair. Then, a decade later maybe
One of a swan's famously deceptive wings will
Fracture a man's imprudent arm.
This is news of great import. Also
It has been known for someone tall
To be impacted twice by lightning
In their lives and for people to fall
From aeroplanes and survive but these
Are mostly very light and compact children.
