Memories
 
Every victory, conquest, achievement, success.
Of those, there are some I recall.
 
Every failure, rejection, debacle, defeat.
I’ll forever remember them all.



Criticism
 
If you see fit to criticize
What I may say or do,
I’ll listen most respectfully
And mull your point of view.
 
But if that contemplation leads
To no epiphany,
The most that I can do is just
Politely disagree.


 
Too Busy
 
Too busy for thank-yous, correctness, responses
Too busy for patience, fulfillment, or promptness
Too busy to function without gross abuses
But never too busy to offer excuses.
