Number One Fan

I used to think of God a lot,
But now he doesn't interest me.
He may exist, or maybe not,
An unobtrusive deity.
Most likely God collects a pension,
Spends his time at beach resorts,
Relaxes, rarely pays attention,
Sits in bars and watches sports.
That would explain those athletes who
Believe God’s watching all they do.
