Morning Minuet
How often the office gossips
make life miserable
(as if it isn't fluorescent enough already)
Clock faces, envelopes, swivel chairs
Don't you feel the way those lights look
Who'd live that way
folded into a desk file, neatly put aside
I like sharp pencils-
Your teasing eyes scare me.
