At
the Other End
At the other end of the loop of breath,
as it curls through the air like
a shy snail unfurling,
At the other end of the whoosh of direction,
as it leaps off the tongue like
a diver keen to touch water,
At the other end of the force of intention,
as it bounds into space like
an upward bounce of a ball,
is the sound.
