numerous parasites
crawl on your body, all
eager to win
 
perks you provide them with
involuntarily.
Try not to let them get

Real(i)ty
 

The purportedly haunted home that inspired the 2013 horror movie The Conjuring sold for over 1.5 million, after selling in 2019 for less than a third that price. According to media reports, the previous owners never complained about ghosts, but rather about fans of the movie who showed up at all hours and trespassed on the property.  (Poltergeist translates literally from German as ‘knocking spirit.’)

Hocusy-pocusy,                                                            
home of The Conjuring,
though it is lacking both
polter and geist,
 
animates realtors who                    
un-paranormally
conjure a deal that is
ghastfully priced.
