Gottas

The bride has gotta dress in white.
The mason's gotta brick the wall.
The vampire’s gotta take a bite.
The crook has gotta count the haul.
The prince has gotta host the ball;
The princess has to kiss the toad.
The shopper's gotta hit the mall.
The chicken's gotta cross the road.
The jeans have gotta fit real tight.
The bouncer's gotta stop the brawl.
The commie's gotta shout "Unite!"
The klutz has gotta slip and fall.
The urban center's gotta sprawl.
The deb has gotta say commode
(Not potty, shithouse, john, or stall).
The chicken's gotta cross the road.
The sinner's gotta act contrite.
The mourner's gotta bear the pall,
The doctor's gotta save us, right?
The southern belle has gotta drawl
"Ah, stop your foolish teasin', y'all."
The spy has gotta crack the code.
The hooker's gotta whatchacall.
The chicken's gotta cross the road.
Although the meaninglessness gall,
Although her feathers feel a load,
For there to be a joke at all,
The chicken's gotta cross the road.
