Tail Script
(ars poetica)
I like the way my cat
expresses anger
with the tip
of his tail -
so far away
from his brain:
It reminds me
of how I write a letter
of complaint.
Handovers
When I pass a glass
of water to my daughter,
I continue to hold it
for a second or two
while she holds it. I wish
more conversations
were like this.
