Sexy Vultures
With bulky body under tiny head
that’s often smeared with gore from eaten dead,
the vulture wins for “Least Attractive Bird”
and soundly beats the second place or third.
But vultures make each other swoon and sigh
with charms unnoticed by the human eye.
I doubt they mate from sense of moral duty
but rather ‘cuz they want some vulture booty.
They’ve got an urge that screams for satisfaction
and choose a mate on basis of attraction.
One sees another picking corpses bare
and thinks, “Oh, what a stunning creature there!”
They wouldn’t wish to have their fates exchanged
with humans having sex that’s been arranged.
Unlike some partners hiding their disgust,
no vulture’s making love without the lust.
