
a heaven of metaphors
I might also
become
a metaphor
like my soul
when science disproves
my existence
too
against the wind
I pull my coat lapels
across each other
a bird tucks in
its wings
The Size of a Tiger
A man plays
Tears in Heaven
and a tiger sits down
next to him. And I think
of how I stroked a cat
I did not know
in my local park.
My life is that cat.
