The Journey

It started off as a trip
turned into a tour
playing music
writing poetry
going places I'd never been

ended up as a pilgrimage
Cancer Boy
goes back to the Sea

I plan to do things
the Heritage Trail
the bush walks
the tourist bit..
I watch the Ocean

Mentally I achieve lots
I mean to practice
I mean to shower
to read a book
I watch the Ocean

Bedded down in a sand-dune
I feel the warmth
of the sun above
of the sand beneath
Others come and go

The tide comes and goes

I watch the Ocean.
