Dark Seas Back to Snakeskin

In the dark seas where big squid roam,
where haddock have their dismal home,
where eels entwine, where swordfish mate
and drowned men disintegrate;
where teeth attack and victims bleed,

knows no day and knows no god.
It beats the shores that cramp it round.
Oh keep me, fate, on firm dry ground
